Mike’s inspection was very detailed. Even though it was a new build he noticed things that were not up to standard and needed to be fixed. His report was very detailed, letting us know what the builder should fix right away. Also gave very good information on how to maintain the filters, hot water tank, etc. The seller was even so pleased with his service that he took his card and would be using him for his own new home inspection.

I'll be honest, I initially looked at another home inspector because I was skeptical about Mike's 120 five star ratings with nothing bad to be said. We hired Mike since it was a recommendation from our realtor and reading previous reviews, I knew that Mike was the guy to perform the inspection. He arrived a bit earlier and started to do the inspection. I encourage everyone to arrive as early as him so you start doing the inspection with him, and as it goes, he explains many, many things. Don't miss out on the opportunity to learn -Mike answered all our questions, very patiently-.Very thorough, very detailed. He could assessed all the issues, their importance or urgency. The exterior he checks walls (for cracks even if they are hairline he will point them out), roofs, windows, doors, patios, decks. The interior he will review foundations, structural beams, pipes (if they are exposed, of course), furnace, AC, plumbing in bathrooms and kitchens, electrical outlets and attic. ALL! Really everything he can review, he will do so.The report was explained with pictures he took, diagrams explaining the elements in question and his opinion regarding the urgency.I will hire him with my eyes closed for the next home inspection.

I highly recommend Mike Heeley for home inspections. Not only is he professional and courteous, he really goes the distance you need to ensure your house is properly inspected. And he tries his hardest to inspect everything to a T, due to his great inspection skills and capabilities, he had unveiled a long list of things that I suspect the owner as well as the agent was attempting to cover up. He was able to detect fungus, mice, termites, and foundation issues etc. amongst other things. I am super grateful for his service and will definitely use him again in the future.
